Play Fast Notes — Privacy Policy

Play Fast Notes ("the app," "we," "us") is a practice tool for musicians. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain because we collect only what the app needs to work.

Who this policy covers

It applies to the Play Fast Notes iOS app and the website at playfastnotes.com.

What we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password so you can sign in. You can also use the app on a single device without an account.
• Content you add. Photos or PDFs of sheet music you import, the passages and folders you create, and any optional audio recordings you make of your own playing.
• Practice activity. The practice sessions, tempos, progress, and notes you log inside the app.
• Basic technical data. Standard information needed to run and maintain the service (for example, error logs). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking SDKs, and we do not build advertising profiles.

How we use it

• To provide the app: store your music library, show your practice history, and (if you sign in) keep your library available across your devices.
• To operate, secure, and maintain the service.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Your account, library, and uploaded content are stored on our behalf by Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage). Data is protected in transit with standard encryption (HTTPS).

Payments

If you choose to purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete my account). This removes your account, your library, your uploaded images and recordings, and your practice history. You may also email us to request deletion.

Children

Play Fast Notes is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
